Zahmeen Skincare focuses on bringing back traditional methods of beauty, proudly handcrafting skincare products from completely natural ingredients. Zahmeen Skincare were creating incredible products which were recognised by large retailers like John Lewis, and an identity was needed to prepare the brand for its initial trial at John Lewis and beyond.
To create a logo and visual style that conveyed the luxury and simplicity of the brand. This would lead to the creation of labels and box diellines for each of Zahmeen Skincare's 11 products, as well as informational handouts which upheld the same values.
The logo is simple and geometric, conveying the luxury and uncomplicated nature of the brand. The visual style ensures breathing room between elements which adds to the simplicity and keeps the brand feeling light and welcoming. The monochromatic palette again reiterates these values and helps the brand appear high-end, as well as having shelf-presence when compared with many cosmetic brands relying upon pattern and colour.
The product labels carry the visual style of the brand and use elements of the logo, such as the white border, to subtly hint at the brand without the need for the logo on the front of the packaging. The absence of colour in the branding and packaging allows the colour of the product itself to take centre stage.
The boxes were an extension of the labels and were kept simple on the front side, with the information and ingredients added to the reverse side.
